Problem Note 61403: You experience poor performance when you use the FEDSRV engine because sub-queries are not pushed to the database in cross-database joins
When running SQL queries involving joins in sub-queries in a FROM clause, you might notice that queries are not pushed to the database. When you encounter this problem, rows for each of the tables are fetched, which negatively affects performance. This problem happens when you use the FEDSVR engine in your LIBNAME statement.
To work around this issue, create your multi-table view in a single database such as Teradata instead or in SAS® Federation Server.
