Problem Note 61228: SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server data partition files are written to the primary metadata path
After you restart the SAS Scalable Performance Data Server, if an SPDSLIB connection is made to the server prior to the .spdslib11 file being initialized in the domain, all of the data partition files might be written to the primary metadata path. The SPDSLIB connection includes connecting with an ODBC-compliant or JDBC compliant data source or accessing the domain with the backup and restore utility.
The .spdslib11 file is deleted when the server is restarted and re-created on the first LIBNAME connection to the domain.
Workaround
Submit an SASSPDS LIBNAME connection to the domain when the server is restarted.
