Usage Note 61198: When attempting to create a schedule, SAS® Visual Data Builder might fail to connect to Operating System Services and prompt for credentials
When you attempt to create a schedule in SAS Visual Data Builder, you might encounter this series of messages:
Cannot schedule the query. The scheduler is not connected.
When you click Close in the message, you are prompted to enter credentials for Operating System Services.
After entering the same credentials that you used to log on to SAS Visual Data Builder, you see this final message:
Failed to connect to the scheduling server.
This problem can occur if the middle tier where SAS Visual Analytics is deployed cannot communicate with the port used by Operating System Services. By default, that port is 8451.
To resolve this issue, you must open the port.
