The SAS Visual Analytics audit extraction process might stop without warning. This issue prevents the SAS Visual Analytics Administrator Overview report from displaying current usage data.
The extraction process stops when the pooled workspace server session that was started by SAS® Visual Data Builder stops. When the extraction process is stopped, the audit_visualanalytics.sas7bdat in the <EVDMLA>/Append directory is no longer updated. The table is not updated even though auditable actions are still being performed in SAS Visual Analytics. The pooled workspace server session can stop for different reasons, but one common reason is restarting the object spawner.

After the hot fix has been applied, a new pooled workspace server session is started for each audit extraction. By design, this pooled workspace session stops when the extraction process completes.
