When you attempt to create a new category while editing an existing note, SAS Enterprise Case Management might not create the new category. Instead, the note remains assigned to the original category. In addition, the Notes tab does not display the new category in the list of existing categories.
The problem occurs when the name of the new category is a substring of the existing category name.
For example, an existing category named Notes by AE contains two notes, as shown below:
If you edit a note in that category and create a new category named AE, the new category might not be created. The note is still associated with the original Notes by AE category and the new AE category is not created, as shown below:
