Problem Note 60638: In SAS® Cost and Profitability Management 8.1, opening saved operation summaries fails with an "IOM call failed..." error

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

If you open an operation summary under Tools ► Operation Summaries while operations such as import, export, calculation, or cube generation are running, it might put the SASServer9_1 middle tier server into a state that prevents you from being able to open other operation summaries subsequently. Attempting to open an operation summary from Tools ► Operation Summaries while this state exists fails with one of the following errors:

IOM call failed. Internal server exception: access violation
Client found response content type of 'text/html;charset=utf-8', but expected 'text/xml'.

To work around the issue, restart SASServer9_1.
