Problem Note 60579: Performing command-line batch deployments in SAS® Data Integration Studio generates code without performance-statistics macros

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you deploy SAS Data Integration Studio jobs that have the Collect Runtime Statistics and Collect Table Statistics options enabled, they do not retain their associated macro variables related to performance statistics. This problem occurs when you use the DeployJobs command-line batch deployment tool.

A workaround for this issue is to deploy jobs using the SAS Data Integration Studio client instead of the DeployJobs command-line batch deployment tool.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

Post-Installation Instructions

Installing this hot fix corrects the issue by introducing a new command-line option, -DISABLEPERFSTATS. In the command-line tool, this new option toggles between disabling or enabling performance statistics within the batch-deployed job code. By default, jobs deployed without the new option included will continue to not include performance-statistics macros as part of the deployed job code.

If you need the command-line batch deployment tool to include performance statistics, then add the following to the command line:

-DISABLEPERFSTATS false
