Problem Note 60492: Using the TRIM or STRIP functions as input to another function might return incorrect results when used with SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server 5.1
When you use SAS Scalable Performance Data Server 5.1, if the TRIM or STRIP functions are used as input to another function, incorrect results might occur.
The problem occurs when the column being stripped or trimmed contains all blanks. The functions work correctly if not used as input to another function.
