When you perform a SORT in the SAS SPD Server, a disk-full condition might occur, causing the following error to be written repeatedly to the SAS SPD server log.
SPDSBASE- dawrit1: Write failed:
/spdssr_0013019C.00000007.0.0.0.spds9 Reason=Insufficient disk space to complete operation errno=28
The problem occurs when the SAS SPD Server WORKPATH= space is depleted. When the SAS SPD Server attempts to write the spill file to the WORKPATH, looping of the error message occurs.
