Problem Note 60449: Incorrect datetime values are exported when you use tags to reference the Date-Time Range custom field in a treatment

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you use tags to reference a Date-Time Range custom field in a treatment, SAS® Customer Intelligence exports all datetime values as Jan 1, 1960.

This problem occurs when you perform steps similar to the following:

  1. Create a treatment with Date-Time Range custom fields and associate those fields with tags so that they can be used in an Export node.
  2. Create an export definition that references the tags that write the output to a SAS data set.
  3. Create a campaign using this treatment-and-export combination.
  4. Enter dates and times into the treatment Date-Time Range fields.
  5. Save and execute the campaign.

After you save and execute the campaign, the datetime values are written to the SAS data set as Jan 1, 1960, which is incorrect. This problem does not occur if the range fields are defined as date values rather than datetime values.
