Problem Note 60308: When you use Chain Directives in SAS® Data Loader for Hadoop, "ERROR: Access violation" occurs

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you use Chain Directives to run two or more of your existing directives, a workspace server session is started for each directive specified in Chain Directives. When each individual directive completes, its associated workspace server session incorrectly continues to run. As a result of multiple workspace server sessions running concurrently, you might encounter memory-related issues during code execution. Here are some of the errors that you might see:

ERROR: Access violation
Error submitting a line of text to the asynchronous language service.
Task complete. Nothing to do.; Execution failed: Step error log received from server.
Error submitting a line of text to the asynchronous language service.
