Problem Note 60292: "Case was not found" error occurs in SAS® Enterprise Case Management after you cancel the creation of a new case
When you create a new entity in SAS Enterprise Case Management but cancel the entity creation without saving your changes, you might see an error that the entity is not found. The problem might occur for all entity types, such as Case, E-File, Subject, or Alert. The problem occurs when you select a menu item to create a new entity while viewing a custom Home page or a page in the Administration menu.
For example, you might encounter the problem when you perform the following steps:
- Select Administration ► UI Definitions.
- Select Cases ► New Case...
- On the New Case dialog box, select a case type and click OK.
- While editing the case, click the Return arrow to cancel creation of the new case and return to the previous screen.
- Click No on the Save Changes dialog box.
When the problem occurs, you see an error similar to the following:

fixed.
The problem also occurs after you cancel the creation of a new e-file, subject, or alert.
