Usage Note 60208: Reliability Analysis group and reporting variables cannot contain certain special characters
In SAS® Field Quality Analytics, Reliability Analysis group and reporting variables cannot contain certain special characters. These special character values are " (double quote), ' (single quote) , (comma) and /* (slash asterisk). If the group or reporting variables contain these special characters, then Reliability Analysis fails with the following error:
ERROR: A character operand was found in the %EVAL function or %IF condition where a numeric operand is required. The condition was: &p_msgParams eq
ERROR: The macro WRNA_ADDMSG will stop executing.
If your group or reporting variables contain any of these characters (double quote, single quote, comma, or slash asterisk), then you should replace the special character with a default character such as underscore ( _ ).
