In SAS^® Customer Intelligence Studio, you might see a pop-up error message similar to the following when you attempt to validate a decision campaign:

You might see this error under the following circumstances:

• You create a decision campaign that includes a Process node that is a data process, and the data process is of type Insert data.
• One or more of the input variables are of type Character.
• You set the value of the input variable of type Character to be another variable (for example, a variable from an upstream node), and that other variable is of type Character List.
• You then attempt to validate the decision campaign.
