Problem Note 60046: You cannot view an attachment to a note after you edit and update the note in SAS® Enterprise Case Management

In SAS Enterprise Case Management, when you edit and update a note that includes an attachment, you can no longer view the attachment.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Post a note that includes an attachment.
  2. Click the attachment, via the link available in the note, to verify that you can successfully view it in the browser.
  3. Click Edit to edit the note. Do not click the Remove Existing Attachment button. Click the Update button to save the edited note.
  4. In the updated note, click the attachment.
  5. The attachment contents are not displayed in the browser. Instead, an error message indicates that the document could not be loaded, as shown in the following example:
