Problem Note 60632: SAS® Pack Optimization might fail to respond if other users are using the find in table functionality
SAS® Pack Optimization might fail to respond when other users are using the find in table functionality. The find in table functionality results in a large number of submitted background tasks that is equal to the number of unexpanded hierarchy nodes loaded in the table. While these find in table background tasks are running, the background tasks of other users are queued resulting in the solution appearing to fail to respond. The issue is likely to occur when you expand many nodes and then conduct a search. Potentially hundreds or thousands of background tasks are submitted for all of the unexpanded child nodes.
There is no workaround for this issue.
Operating System and Release Information
SAS System | SAS Pack Optimization | Linux for x64 | 3.4 | 3.41 | 9.4 TS1M3 | 9.4 TS1M4 |

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
The find in table functionality causes excess queuing of tasks for other users, making it appear that the solution is hung.
