Problem Note 60526: When you use SAS® Event Stream Processing Studio to test a project, stopping the project causes SAS® Event Stream Processing Server to crash

When you use SAS Event Stream Processing Studio to test a project, pressing the stop button causes SAS Event Stream Processing Server to crash. In this scenario, an exception pop-up message similar to the following appears:

dfesp_xml_server.exe has stopped working

(dfesp_xml_server.exe has stopped working)

You must restart SAS Event Stream Processing Server in order to test a project again.  

As a workaround, you can run SAS Event Stream Processing Server on a Linux system.
