Usage Note 60486: When you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC to connect to a Denodo database, "...invalid connection option 'krbsrvname'..." occurs
When using SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC to connect to Denodo, you might receive the following error:
libname test odbc datasrc="Denodo" user=xxxxxx password="XXXXXX" schema=dba;
ERROR: CLI error trying to establish connection: [unixODBC]invalid connection option "krbsrvname"
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
You encounter this problem when the Postgres database that Denodo uses is an older version of Postgres. The problem occurs even when ISQL can connect to the Denodo system.
To circumvent the problem, update Postgres to version 9.4 rather than version 8 or earlier versions.
