Problem Note 60095: SAS® Visual Analytics Designer might display "Invalid magnitude" errors when saving reports with vertical containers
When you attempt to save a report with a vertical container, SAS Visual Analytics Designer might display the following error:
FaultEvent fault=[RPC Fault faultString="java.lang.RuntimeException : Report could not be saved.
Cause: Invalid magnitude value for a length: -4.7., Exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:
Invalid magnitude value for a length: -20.1." faultCode="Server.Processing" faultDetail="null"]
messageId="D0C48344-A708-5D34-CC2E-833394CE06E05" type="fault" bubbles=false cancelable=true eventPhase=2]
This error can occur when you try to re-size an object in a vertical container beyond the size of the report canvas. Sometimes, rather than increasing in size, the object becomes very small and the object height becomes a negative number, as seen in the following display:
In order to save the report, you must manually re-size the object so that the height value is at least zero.
