Problem Note 59973: The wrong Custom Details tag type is recorded in the SAS® Customer Intelligence export definition
A Custom Details tag is used in an export definition. However, if that tag type is modified, the type is not updated in the export definition, even if you remove the tag and re-add it to the export definition.
This problem occurs when you perform steps similar to the following:
- Create a new Custom Details tag with the Type field set to Text.
- Create a new selection-campaign definition and add one custom detail. In that custom detail, bind the tag that was created to the Text field.
- Create a new export definition and set the tag in the Export Contents section.
- Set the Custom Details tag's Type field to Numeric.
- Remove the campaign definition's old custom detail. Then create a new, numeric custom detail and set the tag.
- In the export definition, remove the tag from the Export Contents section. Then re-set the tag in the Export Contents.
- Save and close the export definition.
When you open the export definition, you will see that the tag type is not reflected properly as Numeric. It still appears as type Character, as shown below:

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
In SAS Customer Intelligence, the Custom Details tag type is not updated within the export definition if the tag is created after the export definition is created.
