Problem Note 59866: The error "Unable to create envelope from given source" occurs when you test decision campaigns in SAS® Real-Time Design Manager

When you test decision campaigns in SAS Real-Time Decision Manager, the contact-history table is not updated in test mode when a large number of dynamic custom-detail fields are part of a treatment.
When this problem happens, the SASDecisionServicesDesignServer log file contains the following error message:
2016-11-25 16:42:57,046 ERROR org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[Catalina].[localhost].[/RTDM].[SOAPServlet] - Servlet.service() for servlet [SOAPServlet] in context with path [/RTDM] threw exception [Request processing failed; nested exception is org.springframework.ws.soap.saaj.SaajSoapEnvelopeException: Could not access envelope: Unable to create envelope from given source: ; nested exception is com.sun.xml.internal.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: Unable to create envelope from given source: ] with root cause
This problem can occur when both of the following circumstances are true:
- The SAS® Web Server and SAS® Web Application Server both use Secure Sockets Layer and the HTTPS protocol.
- The combined character length of labels, values, column names, and custom-detail tags exceeds the length threshold. This threshold is currently unknown.
