Problem Note 59613: The column context-sensitive menu in SAS® Studio table viewer disappears when you are running Google Chrome 55.0.2883.87 and later

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you use the SAS Studio table viewer with Google Chrome version 55.0.2883.87 and later, an issue might occur when you try to use the column context-sensitive menu. When viewing a table in the table viewer, if you right-click a column heading in the grid, the menu appears only momentarily and then disappears.

Ordinarily, the column context-sensitive menu enables you to add a sort or filter to the column and to resize the grid view based on column length. If you experience the problem described here, you can add a filter by clicking the icon above the table. And you can add a sort by using the icon to display the query code and modify it.  A more general circumvention is to use another browser or another version of Chrome.

Note: Be aware that Chrome updates its versions automatically unless you have turned off the automatic updates.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue for SAS Studio Basic and SAS Studio Mid-Tier editions.  Use the Downloads page to upgrade SAS Studio Single-User Edition to the latest release, including hot fixes.
