In SAS® Size Profiling, purging Inventory fact data using the %di_maintain_job macro might run longer than expected. The problem occurs when there are many data partitions. The fact-data partition files are purged sequentially, one at time, and not in parallel.

After you apply the hot fix, the fact-data partition files are purged in parallel, thus reducing the overall time for the purge jobs.
