Problem Note 59494: Using the SAS® SPD Server plug-in for SAS® Management Console 5.1 to connect to an earlier server release results in "SPDSSERV- Error on connection"

When you attempt to use the SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server 5.1 plug-in to connect to an older release of the server, an invalid username / password message is generated in the SAS Management Console dialog box. In addition, the following error is written to the server log:
SPDSSERV- Error on connection, client version (4.50) older than server (4.53) (or 4.52 if connect to that server)
