Problem Note 59405: Excessive delays occur the first time a new user logs on and is authenticated by the SAS® Metadata Server
The first time a new user is authenticated by SAS Metadata Server, a user folder with a unique name is created. When a large number of users already exist in the metadata, the process of confirming the uniqueness of the folder name delays the logon process. The delay might be as long as several minutes depending on the number of users in the metadata. This issue might affect users logging on to applications such as SAS® Studio or SAS® Enterprise Guide®.
