Problem Note 59145: The SAS® Financial Management fm_1300_load_exchange rates job fails and returns "...ERROR: duplicate key value violates unique constraint..."
The SAS Financial Management fm_1300_load_exchange rates job might fail if you are loading derived (complex) exchange rates. When you encounter this problem, a message similar to the following is displayed in the SASFinancialManagement5.5.log:
Caused by: com.sas.solutions.odcs.client.ODCSRuntimeException:
org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: duplicate key value violates
unique constraint "sas_xrate__unique_crossing" Detail: Key (xrate_set_id,
xrate_type_member_id, from_currency_member_id,
to_currency_member_id, time_member_id, concat_member_ids)=(208, 523,
855, 856, 832, 550,650) already exists.
This error is most likely to occur if Time dimension member codes exceed eight characters in length.
