Problem Note 59092: Using the Manage Deployed Jobs dialog box returns "Metadata error: The deployed job ("job-name") is not associated with a job object..."

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS® Management Console, when you use the Manage Deployed Jobs dialog box to redeploy a job in the Schedule Manager plug-in, you might encounter the following error:

Metadata error: The deployed job ("job-name")is not associated with a job object. Correct the error using the "Set SAS Job Association" action in Schedule Manager on the deployed job.

If you try to correct the error by setting the SAS Job Association, you might see the following message:

The job 'job-name' was successfully redeployed as 'job-name'for scheduling to 'directory-name' directory.

After you receive this message, a null pointer exception error occurs and the operation is canceled.

This problem occurs because changes that you make to an associated job are not made to the metadata.
