Problem Note 59010: PROC GLIMMIX might produce incorrect results in the Type III Tests of Fixed Effects and in the Solutions for Fixed or Random Effects

Incorrect results are produced in the GLIMMIX procedure when all of the following conditions are met:
- A constructed effect is specified in an EFFECT statement is included in the model.
- The METHOD=QUAD or LAPLACE option is specified in the PROC GLIMMIX statement.
- The DDFM=KENWARDROGER, KENWARDROGER2, or SATTERTHWAITE is specified in the MODEL statement, or the DDFM= option is omitted.
In this situation, incorrect results are produced in the Type III Tests for Fixed Effects table. If you also specify the SOLUTION option in the MODEL statement or RANDOM statement, results in the corresponding Solutions tables are incorrect.
In addition, if you omit the DDFM= option, the Model Information table incorrectly states that the Degrees of Freedom Method and the Fixed Effects SE Adjustment are both Kenward-Roger.
The problem can be circumvented by specifying the DDFM=RESIDUAL option or the DDFM=BETWITHIN option in the MODEL statement in PROC GLIMMIX.
