Problem Note 59849: The SASĀ® 360 Discover extract, transform, and load (ETL) job can generate an error when a data file contains a record with more than 32,000 characters
When a data file contains a record with more than 32,000 characters and that record is passed from the normalization process into the SAS 360 Discover Customer Experience Targeting (CXT) ETL job, the job fails with the following error:
cxt_1001_extract_product_view job failing with the following errors:
NOTE: Invalid data for view_sequence_no in line 220437 62-80.
NOTE: Invalid data for view_timestamp in line 220437 82-103.
ERROR: Mandatory column(s) in source file PRODUCT are missing. attribution_start_csa is null or csa_number is null or
session_number is null or view_sequence_no is null or view_timestamp is null for 1 records. Please correct the source data for the ETL to resume.
To work around this problem:
- Download the attached macro and save it in the ucmacro location.
- Run the ETL reset job.
- Then rerun the CXT ETL job.
