Usage Note 59812: Facet series records are not displayed when you edit activity type on the activity page of Strategic Planner in SAS® Marketing Operations Management
In the Strategic Planner module of SAS Marketing Operations Management, when you edit the marketing activity type on the Edit Activity form (which includes the facet series), a previously entered record in a facet series might not be displayed until you save the record. The record appears after you save activity with a new type.
This issue occurs only for the entity Marketing Activity and when a facet series is added to FRM_ActivityDetails form in Strategic Planner.
The problem occurs when you perform steps similar to the following:
- In SAS Marketing Operations Management, navigate to Strategic Planner and create a plan.
- Under that plan, create a program and add program details (for example, activity type, activity number, and so on).
- Add a few records in the facet series and save the series.
- Click Edit on the Edit Activity form. When you do, you should see that the records in the facet series are displayed.
- Now, edit Activity Type by removing or selecting a new type.
- Without saving the activity, check the records of the facet series. You will notice that the records for the facet series are removed as soon as you edit the activity type.
If you then save the activity in the View Activity pane, the records are displayed.
