Problem Note 59471: An error occurs when you edit HTML in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio and "disable output escaping" is used for the image source variable
Editing HTML in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio generates an error when the disable output escaping option is used for the image source variable.
This problem occurs when you perform the following steps:
- You create an HTML broadcast in SAS® Digital Marketing Studio. The HTML includes an image source that contains a variable, and the disable output escaping option is selected in that variable. With the disable output escaping option selected, an HTML line similar to the following is generated:
<img src="<xsl:value-of disable-output-escaping="yes" select='FORENAME'/>"
width="171" border="0" />
- After you save the broadcast in SAS Digital Marketing Studio, you then edit this same broadcast in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio. On the Edit Content page, you select the Edit option and then click OK.
After you perform these steps, the following error is displayed:
An error occurred while generating the broadcast preview. Open quote is
expected for attribute "disable-output-escaping" associated with an element type
"xsl:value-of".
To work around the problem, do not perform an edit in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio on broadcasts with this type of variable. Alternatively, do not select the disable output escaping option for the variable.
