Problem Note 59398: The StatExplore node standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis values might be incorrect
In SAS® Enterprise Miner™, the StatExplore node displays Standard Deviation, Skewness, and Kurtosis. The statistics are displayed in the Output panel, and in the Interval Variables panel (View ► Summary Statistics ► Interval Variables). However, some of the values in the Interval Variables panel might be incorrect.
The problem occurs when you have a class target, such that statistics are displayed for each class level. The Standard Deviation, Skewness, and Kurtosis that correspond to the first target level are incorrect for each variable.
There are no errors or warnings to indicate a problem.
To view the correct values, select View ► SAS Results ► Output. Scroll down to the section called "Interval Variable Summary Statistics by Class Target". The Target Level statistics are displayed for each variable.
