Problem Note 59263: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" might appear when saving a Microsoft Excel file that contains SAS® content
When using the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office, you might see the following error when you attempt to save a Microsoft Excel file that contains SAS content. Specifically, this error can occur when focus is on a chart sheet instead of on a worksheet.

This problem can occur after you apply Hot Fix 4 to release 7.12 of the SAS add-in.
