By default, the Web Container is Clustered property for SAS Web Report Studio is set to Yes. This setting is safe to use even if your deployment is not clustered. However, in some cases, clustering can prevent scheduling and distribution from working. When this problem occurs, the View scheduled and distributed reports dialog box shows the schedule or distribution as either Running or Failed. There are usually no errors in the SAS Web Report Studio log.

Because this situation is uncommon, if scheduling and distribution are not working, first review the possible causes in SAS KB0036306, "Tips for troubleshooting scheduling and distribution in SAS Web Report Studio." If none of the causes seem to apply in your case, then attempt to resolve the issue by performing these steps:

1. Log on to SAS^® Management Console as an administrative user such as sasadm@saspw.
2. On the Plug-ins tab, navigate to Application Management ► Configuration Manager ► SAS Application Infrastructure.
3. Right-click SAS Web Report Studio and select Properties.
4. On the Settings tab, select Application ► Configuration in the left pane.
5. On the right, click the drop-down arrow next to Web Container is Clustered and change the value to No.
6. Click OK.
7. Restart the web application server where SAS Web Report Studio is deployed.
