Problem Note 58903: SAS® Event Stream Processing stops responding, and derived columns from SAS® Visual Scenario Designer are not retained
SAS Event Stream Processing stops responding and derived columns are not retained when the following conditions are true:
- You deployed a window from SAS Visual Scenario Designer.
- The SAS Visual Scenario Designer window contains second-order, calculated fields (derived columns).
The problem occurs because duplicate key values exist in the joined window in SAS Visual Scenario Designer. The SAS Visual Scenario Designer windows seem to deploy successfully.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply the hot fix, SAS Visual Scenario Designer uses different key values so that there are no duplicate values. The SAS Visual Scenario Designer window should deploy and execute in the SAS Event Stream Processing Engine correctly.
