Usage Note 58877: Recursive Segmentation Violations occur when you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC to connect to Microsoft SQL Server
Recursive Segmentation Violations might occur when you use SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC to connect to a Microsoft SQL Server database. The problem occurs on specific tables and might cause your SAS® software to crash.
When you encounter this problem, the Microsoft SQL Server logs show the following errors:
Critical SAS error: Write Access Violation SQL Exception occurred at (56c77e6)
Critical SAS error: Read Access Violation SQL Exception occurred at (1e5997b)
The problem occurs when data has become corrupted in the Microsoft SQL Server database. To resolve the problem, correct the data in the database table.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
When running PROC SQL pass-through code, you might receive Recursive Segmentation Violations, and your SAS® software might shut down. The problem occurs because of corrupted data that has been added to the database.
