The Teradata 15.10 client has changed the location of several files that are used by SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata. The environment variables specifications have also changed. The following should now be used with SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata:

• The TDICU libraries are no longer present or required. The TBUILD .so modules have also been moved to the top level /15.10/lib64 directory. As a result, the shared library environment variable no longer needs the tbuild  directory. An example of the environment variable setting for LD_ LIBRARY_PATH for Linux and Solaris follows:                                                                                                   LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/teradata/client/15.10/lib64:/opt/teradata/client/15.10/lib:/usr/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               The LIBPATH environment variable for AIX and the SHLIB_PATH environment variable for HP needs to be set similar to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable above.                                                                                                                                            
• The opermsg.cat file is now in its own msg directory instead of the tbuild directory. An example of the environment variable setting for NLSPATH follows:
  NLSPATH=/opt/teradata/client/15.10/msg/%N:/opt/teradata/client/15.10/odbc_64/msg/%N:$NLSPATH
• The clispb.dat file has moved to the /opt/teradata/client/15.10/etc directory. In previous versions, it was located in the /opt/teradata/client/xx.xx/lib directory. If you use COPLIB as an environment variable, you should set the COPLIB environment variable to this new location: COPLIB=opt/teradata/client/15.10/etc.
