Problem Note 58650: An Adobe Flex memory leak occurs when you open and then close a campaign in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, a Flex memory leak might occur when you open and then close campaigns. The leak might occur when you perform steps similar to the following:
- Open a campaign in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio and navigate through each page. (During this step, memory use increases.)
- Close the campaign. (When you close the campaign, the memory use is not released.)
- Repeat step 1 (with the same campaign). (The memory use still increases.)
- Repeat step 1 and 2 several times.
At some point as you repeat steps 1 and 2, the Adobe Flash plug-in fails and generates an out-of-memory error.
The only workaround is to log off from SAS Customer Intelligence Studio. Logging off releases the used memory.
