In SAS® Drug Development 4.5.3, some SAS® processes associated with SAS® Workspace sessions or Job Transient Workspace sessions do not terminate and become orphaned on the operating system. These sessions might not be reachable through the associated session's user interface. Processes that are orphaned become unresponsive and cannot be canceled by the SAS Workspace Server. The forced termination by SAS® Drug Development for the orphaned process is also not made. As a result, the associated cleanup of disk space and dead processes are not done on the operating system.
