Problem Note 58475: The restore utility in SASĀ® Scalable Performance Data Server ends abruptly on Linux systems
When you try to use the SAS SPD Server restore utility in a Linux operating environment, the table restore might intermittently end abruptly. A message similar to the following occurs:
NOTE: Restoring from file 'TABLENAME_BK__20141009_142101.0.0.0.spds9'
System Aborting Status=803fc21e
The two issues that might cause the table restore to fail are when
- the table name or column label contains extended ASCII characters, or
- an internal buffer size problem generates an invalid pointer lookup.
