Problem Note 58233: Calculated data items are not all visible in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, you might encounter a situation in which not all calculated data items are visible. When this condition occurs, the following error message appears in the SASCustIntelCore.log file:
2016-04-12 11:47:31,772 ERROR [tomcat-http--2]
[3a263313097fc100:-1c131d24:15409d786f1:-7991] [userid] .custdata.CalculatedItemManagerProxyImpl - Unable to get all calculated items from persistence
java.lang.StackOverflowError
This condition occurs when calculated data items are chained in recursive loops similar to the following:
calculated-item-1 ► calculated-item-2 ► calculated-item-3 ► calculated-item-1
SAS Customer Intelligence Studio should still display all calculated data items even when this condition occurs, and the calculated data item that causes the recursive loop should be marked as unusable. However, it is not marked that way.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After you apply this hot fix, any calculated data item that causes a recursive loop will be marked as unusable.
