Problem Note 58061: "Error reading metadata .." is displayed in SAS® Data Integration Studio when executing a SAS® Business Rules Manager transform

In SAS Data Integration Studio, when you create a job that uses a smart-metadata object (for example, a SAS Business Rules Manager transform), the following errors might be displayed in the log:
"ERROR - Export operation failed while processing business rule flow"
"Error reading metadata:[Realm=SAS Content Server] Authentication required, but invalid credentials supplied"
"Error reading metadata:Previously failed to connect to http://servername:80/SASContentServer/repository/default for null."
"Error reading metadata:[Realm=SAS Content Server] Authentication required, but invalid credentials supplied"
"Error reading metadata:Previously failed to connect to http://servername:80/SASContentServer/repository/default for null."
Access to information that is in SAS® Content Server is denied when you are using each of the following items:
- Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA)
- Kerberos
- a SAS® Business Rules Manager transformation
Also, access might be denied when these conditions are true:
- You are using an IWA-connection profile.
- You export a business rule metadata-object in SAS® Management Console.
Follow these steps to work around the problem.
- Create an additional outbound login
- Store this user and password in the Decision Manager Users group accounts tab for DefaultAuth
