Problem Note 58045: The Operator field either is shown incorrectly or it is not shown at all in a Process node in SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager 6.4
When you first open a SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager Process node in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio, you select a process from a list of defined processes.
If you initially select a data process, in the Process Properties window you will see a group of input fields labeled Criteria variables. This group of fields includes Operator fields.
If you initially select a SAS process, in the Process Properties window you will see a group of input fields labeled Input variables. This group of fields does not include Operator fields.
If you subsequently select a different Process node type from the type that you initially selected, then the input fields might not be correct for the type of Process node that you selected.
For example, if you initially select a SAS process and then subsequently select a data process, the Process Properties window still shows (incorrectly) Input variables input fields. Because the Input variables fields do not include the Operator field, you cannot correctly specify the criteria for the data process.
To work around this problem, always delete and re-select a Process node if the type of Process node needs to be changed.
