Usage Note 58991: The renaming of a treatment in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio is not reflected in the CI_TREATMENT table
When you rename a treatment in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, the new name is not reflected in the CI_TREATMENT table. The following scenario is an example of steps that you might perform in which this problem can occur:
- You create a treatment named (for example) Test.
- You add and register the treatment in a campaign.
- You save the treatment and either execute or publish the campaign. At this point, the CI_TREATMENT table correctly shows Test as the value in the TREATMENT_NM column.
- You rename the treatment by right-clicking the treatment and selecting Rename. In the Rename dialog box, you enter a new name (for example, Test2).
- Then you re-open the campaign and you receive a notification saying that an update for the treatment is available.
- You accept the update. Then the campaign correctly shows the new name for the treatment, as shown below:
However, when you re-execute or publish the campaign, the CI_TREATMENT table still shows the original name (Test) in the TREATMENT_NM column.
As a workaround, open the treatment after you rename it, and modify it slightly (for example, by adding a description) so that the Save button becomes active, as shown here:
After you click Save, the new name is published to the CI_TREATMENT table.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
