Problem Note 58896: You receive "WARNING: Data truncation occurred on a variable document_type_name..." in SAS® Enterprise Case Management
If you configure the global search feature, you might encounter a data truncation warning.
For example, the instructions in the "Global Search Configuration XML Format" section of the SAS® Enterprise Case Management 6.2 Administrator's Guide include the following reference:
<document_type_name>ECM-Cases</document_type_name>
If you follow these instructions, you might encounter the following data truncation warning:
WARNING: Data truncation occurred on variable document_type_name Column length=11 Additional length=13.
The root cause of this problem is attributed to the ecm_srch_get_config_file.sas macro, which resides in this folder:
<SASHome>\SASFoundation\9.4\casemgmtmva\ucmacros
