Problem Note 58822: Calculations for aggregated terms are incorrect when publishing nested SAS® Visual Scenario Designer windows to SAS® Event Stream Processing
When deploying nested windows from SAS Visual Scenario Designer to SAS Event Stream Processing, the calculated values for aggregated (for example, SUM, COUNT, or Num Missing) terms might be incorrect. The problem can occur when you follow these steps:
- Create a window that contains Boolean actions (window 1).
- Create a second window (window 2) that uses window 1 as input.
- Add the Boolean actions from window 1 to window 2.
- Edit the column properties in window 2 to change the aggregation to SUM, COUNT, or Num Missing.
The output for aggregated terms after executing this window (window 2) in SAS Visual Scenario Designer are incorrect when deployed to SAS Event Stream Processing.
There are no errors or warnings to indicate a problem.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After applying the hot fix, the results of executing the nested window in SAS Visual Scenario Designer and the published window in SAS Event Stream Processing are the same.
