A Microsoft 4.0 .NET Framework defect might cause encoding problems with attachments emailed by using the Send to Email Recipient as a Step in Project task in SAS® Enterprise Guide®. Attachments might be sent within the email instead of as an attachment.
Typically, this issue occurs when Lotus Notes is the email client.
A SAS Enterprise Guide configuration option can be used to work around this Microsoft defect.
