Usage Note 58488: TeraGSS and EM_GSSINITFAIL errors might occur when you migrate data from SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Teradata with Teradata 15.10 on a Solaris system
When you are using SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata with the Teradata 15.10 client on a Solaris system, you might receive the following message:
ERROR: Teradata connection: MTDP: EM_GSSINITFAIL(235): call to gss_init failed
The error occurs because there is a problem with the 15.10 TeraGSS client libraries. The non-working version is 15.10.01.00. The working version is 15.10.02.04.
If you encounter this issue, contact Teradata Technical Support for a copy of the new Teradata GSS client libraries.

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
The error occurs because of problems with the TeraGSS client in 15.10 and should be upgraded to 15.10.02.04.
