Problem Note 58404: Adding a column gives an "application cannot determine the rule flow DS2 package name" error

When you add an additional column to the output, SAS® Data Integration Studio might give an error:
ERROR: The application cannot determine the rule flow DS2 package name.
The error occurs when all of these conditions are true:
- You use a SAS® Business Rules Manager transform in SAS Data Integration Studio.
- You add an unused column from the input table as an unmodified carry-over column.
- You enable the "Use Latest Version" macro variables.
This error occurs because the SAS Business Rules Manager transform requires that the number of output columns matches the number of input columns. This requirement prevents you from using the "Use Latest Version" macro functionality when the column numbers differ.
