Problem Note 58386: In SAS® Federation Server, cached views created using TPT do not correctly display rows
When you create a cached view using Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) in SAS Federation Server, you might encounter the following issues with how the rows are displayed:
- All of the rows in the table might not be displayed. This problem can happen when NULL values are processed in a VARCHAR data type in which the data length was not set correctly.
- The table contains no rows. This problem can happen if the generated cache-table names are longer than 27 characters, which causes the driver to create temporary tables that are too long.
The only workaround is to not use TPT.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Cached views created using TPT sometimes do not write out all rows. If the generated cache-table names are longer than 27 characters, the driver creates temporary tables that are too long, which causes no rows to be written to the table.
